What We Do

 

KMD Hospitality's current projects include:

  Designing new school cafeterias

To support these, Annette Lansdowne offers the following:


Marketing Magic

This book provides a great tool for food service directors of schools and colleges, managers in retail stores and restaurants.  Marketing Magic currently has four sections with more being developed.  The current sections include:  Napkin Theory, Little Things, Catering News and Elements.  A quarterly newsletter is being developed to provide additional tools for marketing in the ever-growing competitive marketplace.  Training classes based on information in Marketing Magic are available.  The training is fast-paced and provides interactive, fun activities that create “hands-on” experience using the tools and techniques presented in the book.


Marketing Services
These service vary depending on the needs of the client and can include:

  Reposition companies in the marketplace

  Create Client logo and identity

  Write articles for publication

  Internet Services
      KMD creates websites that save money spent on mail-outs
      and menus, are cost effective and provide an additional means
      of producing revenue.
 

Training Classes
The classes consist of two sections:  motivation and marketing.  The motivational portion is a great way to expose your staff to the direct effect of customer service and provides a way for them to identify and own their own personal power in the customer service arena.  During the marketing portion, participants gain pride in their work as they learn easy and effective ways to brighten a serving line.   


Designs for Kitchen, Serving, and Dining Areas

Designs for efficient operation and eye-popping looks---creative and cost-effective use of materials--- designs based on an understanding of the psychology of users--- are the bread and butter of KMD Hospitality.  The facilities we designed and re-modeled have consistently stood the test of time for providing good looks and increasing the bottom line.
